The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk supports research to find a cure for blood cancer. We are raising awareness and funds in memory of Victoria Tratche, a sweet 15-year-old who lost her life within 3 months of being diagnosed with lymphoblastic lymphoma.
Lymphoblastic Leukemia is a cancer affecting the blood and bone marrow. It progresses rapidly without treatment, and does not have a clear cause. Most children can be cured of their disease after treatment, but it is important to start treatment soon after diagnosis. Events like Light the Night by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society help to raise awareness, provide patient support, and fund research to improve the outcomes for those affected by blood cancer.
We are raising funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in memory of Victoria Tratche. You are also invited to join us for the 2016 Light the Night Walk at Eisenhower Park on Saturday, October 15th.
